Hadar was born in Holon, a city south of Tel Aviv. Her military service included commanding at 'Chavat Ha'shomer', a military base that promotes at-risk boys and equips them with tools for integrating into Israeli society. Hadar worked for the Israeli Scouts for seven years, holding a variety of roles, including managing the delegations to Poland that tell the story of the Holocaust.

 

Before relocating to NYC Hadar worked at INCLU, the organization that leads inclusive education in Israel. In her role, she was responsible for developing a continuum between local communities and schools.

 

Hadar holds a BA in education with a specialization in democratic education, and lived in Jaffa with her wife Noga and their dog Nula.
